Join the new Wyndfall Harp Ensemble!
The new Wyndfall Harp Ensemble is directed by Wendy LeBlanc and welcomes harpists of all levels and ages. We choose repertoire that fits the members of the group. Sometimes this will be small chamber works by classical composers, other times traditional tunes from Celtic literature. Participation is free, and all that we ask is that you bring your harp, a snack for everyone to share, and be ready to have fun! We welcome all experience levels.
We hope to have our next meeting date established soon. Please check back with us again soon to find out the next meeting date and location!
Playing in a harp ensemble is a rewarding experience. It is an opportunity to meet fellow harpists, share ideas, learn ensemble techniques, and perform wonderful music for the community. Whether you play pedal or lever harp, you can enjoy the wonderful harp ensemble experience.
The harp ensemble will also perform with the Tulare County Silver Winds Flute Choir. As a member of the harp ensemble you will have the opportunity to explore the elegance and depth of the flute and harp format. The duet creates a stunning visual and listening experience, and the full tonal range of a harp accompanied by the the flute with its soaring golden tones creates a wonderful music experience.
